SPRING HILL — A 25-year-old Gardner motorcyclist was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center Saturday morning after his motorcycle hit a car at the intersection of 223rd Road and Old KC Road south of Spring Hill in Miami County. Ted Sanborn, 58, Spring Hill; was driving a Cooper Mini west on 223rd, when he slowed to turn south on Old KC Road, when his car was rear ended by a Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by Timothy Oswald, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The highway patrol said Oswald was not wearing a helmet. Sanborn wasn’t injured.
