OTTAWA–The business district in South Ottawa was in the dark for about an hour. Walmart, Country Mart, Orschelyn, and many other businesses were turning customers away because of the darkness. KOFO was off the air for about an hour and 10 minutes because of the outage. Utilities Director Jim Bradley says he still doesn’t know what caused the outage…he says it could be something as simple as an animal getting on the wires.
