POMONA LAKE — Camp sites, especially the highly coveted RV sites with utility hookups are still available at the Pomona State Park for the Independence Day holiday. About 20 of the utility sites are available this afternoon, said Pomona State Park manager Casey Smithson. There are several primitive camp sites available, he said. Some of the utility sites are first-come, first-serve but many can also be reserved on-line or calling the park office, he said. The utility sites will probably be reserved by Wednesday night, he said.
