OTTAWA — Franklin County commissioners have officially approved a three-year contract for county administrator Lisa Johnson. Commissioners have been meeting with Johnson over the last few weeks concerning the contract. Under the new agreement, Johnson will receive an annual base salary of nearly $91,000. Because she also serves as the county’s counselor, she’ll also receive $18,000 per year more. If commissioners were to end the administrator’s position or terminate her without cause, the contract requires the county to pay her three months’ salary plus unpaid vacation and sick leave. If she were terminated for cause, she would only be paid for remaining vacation time.
