OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Band will perform its last concert of the summer tonight at 7:30 at City Park. If many of tonight’s songs sound familiar, it’s because they are. Band director mark paquette said he had some help putting together tonight’s concert, which he calls the “Your Favorites Concert.” Those attending previous concerts this summer voted on their favorites and Paquette said he put together tonight’s playbill based on the top vote-getters, including “Stars and Stripes Forever” and the “Armed Forces Salute.” But he said he’s adding something new as well, a pre-concert jazz combo performance. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. The concert is free and open to the public.
