OTTAWA–It took a while for the Ottawa City Commission to make up its mind on whether to vote on allowing chickens inside city limits. The Planning Commission has voted to deny allowing chickens, but Commissioners Jorgensen and Skidmore wanted to send it back to the Planners for more study. However, the other three City Commissioners say they want to go ahead and make a final decision on it at the next regular city commission meeting August 7. The majority prevailed.
