OLATHE – The Olathe police department is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a fatal collision. authorities say a car traveling north on lone elm road collided with a tractor-trailer that was going west on 159th street just after 7:00 a.m. Friday morning. An 83-year-old female passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the car was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
