OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received three reports of thefts Tuesday. A 59-year-old Princeton woman said several pieces of jewelry were taken from her home in the 900 block of Eisenhower Road southwest of Princeton over the past couple of months. The loss was estimated at $910. A 61- year-old Pomona man reported someone stole a 5-foot long piece of cedar from his front yard in the 500 block of Taylor in Pomona. The cedar had the name of Burgess carved into it. It was valued at $50. Deputies also received reports of burglaries at a storage complex in the 2200 block of East 15 Street east of Ottawa. They weren’t unable to contact the owners of the storage units to determine if anything had been stolen.
