OSAWATOMIE — A Miami County Job Fair will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 3 to 7 in Osawatomie’s Memorial Hall. The free Job Fair is being held by KansasWorks, Miami County Economic Development and the Osawatomie, Paola, Louisburg and Spring Hill Chambers of Commerce. Louisburg Chamber of Commerce’s Karen Chouinard said employers can use the Job Fair in one of three ways. They can have on-site recruiters, provide 100 copies of a flier detailing available positions and how applicants can apply, or list job openings on a general listing to be given to applicants. All employers must be registered by Thursday by contacting Miami County Economic Development Director Janet McRae.
