OTTAWA — An Ottawa man who evaded a dragnet earlier this year will be back in court Wednesday for a status hearing. Justin Wheeler is charged with two counts of battery and criminal restraint as a result of a domestic dispute. After a woman escaped from his home north of Ottawa, deputies surrounded the home but he avoided the ring. He was captured by Ottawa police near the golf course later in the day.
