OTTAWA–Parts of Ottawa will get rewired. It seems some of the electric poles and lines in downtown Ottawa date from the 1930’s, and it needs to be upgraded. Jack Werthman of SEGA Engineering of Overland Park says several parts of Ottawa will get re-wired by next Spring at a cost of almost $600,000.
