OTTAWA — An Ottawa native has been named vice president and chief marketing officer at Ottawa University. Nancy Wingert has served in senior marketing and leadership roles that span the retail and service industries and Fortune 500 consumer packaged-goods companies over the past 20 years. Wingert brings deep experience in all elements of marketing, including advertising, public relations, market research, direct marketing, and digital marketing, Ottawa University president Kevin Eichner said. She leveraged direct and digital marketing to drive double-digit sales growth at Labelmaster of Chicago, and helped drive growth for at R.R. Donnelley & Sons, the largest commercial printer in North America. She will oversee all elements of the university’s marketing efforts and will work closely with OU’s Blackboard colleagues to coordinate joint marketing programs.
