OTTAWA — Four painters representing the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce, Community Image and Affairs Committee and Ottawa University, painted OU arrowheads on the pavement on 10th Street, one of the main entrances to OU. This is the first in several painting projects for the streets around OU and Ottawa High School, Community Image and Affairs chair Sstan Shisler said. Shisler, Wynndee Lee, Samantha Lee, and Lara Boyd painted seven arrowheads. He said Saturday’s efforts were a test of the materials and time it takes, but more school logos will appear in the upcoming weeks. Additional OU logos will be likely placed on Cedar, 9th and 11th streets and for the high school on 11th and Ash streets, he said.
