OTTAWA — Sherry Wright of Ottawa has been elected Region 6 Director of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America. Wright, who has been involved in veterans affairs in the area, was elected as part of the group’s national elections. The group says that it works through the 600 local chapters of Vietnam Veterans of America, and independently to support the needs of veterans, their families, and their communities.
