GARDNER — A standoff in Gardner has ended peacefully. KMBC Channel 9 reported someone wanted in connection with a stabbing early this morning was barricaded in a house in the 1000 block of buffalo Trail in Gardner. Police told Channel 9 that the person surrendered at about 7 a.m., a little more than three hours after the stabbing. A person was stabbed and taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said the suspect has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.
