BALDWIN JUNCTION — A Missouri motorcyclist has died of his injuries from a traffic accident late Monday night on U.S. 59 south of Baldwin Junction. Douglas County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Lewis said the department received a report of a motorcycle in the U.S. 59 median just north of the Franklin County line. Deputies searched the area and found Randall Lusk, 61, El Dorado Springs, Mo. Because of the severity of his injuries, Lusk was taken by helicopter to Overland Park Regional Hospital, Lewis said. Lusk was pronounced dead this morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol and Douglas County deputies continued to work the accident scene overnight, he said. The sheriff’s office asks anyone who may have been in the area last night around 10, to call detective Scott Bonham at (785) 832-5201.
