OVERLAND PARK — Commuters using I-435 in Johnson County can expect major delays this morning and Friday morning. I-435 over the K-10 bridges will be reduced to one lane each on the east-bound and west-bound sides beginning this morning at 9 and lasting until 3:30 this afternoon, the Kansas Department of Transportation said. KDOT said it hopes to have all lanes reopened by Friday afternoon at 3:30. An ongoing construction project is nearing its end and KDOT said crews will stripe the pavement, remove concrete barriers and other cleanup work.
