BURLINGAME — A resurfacing project in Osage County originally scheduled to start Tuesday has been pushed back one week to next Monday, weather permitting. Work crews will apply chip and seal to the roadway and new pavement markings on a nearly 20-mile stretch of K-31 between the Dacotah Street intersection in Burlingame in Osage County and the K-99 intersection in Wabaunsee County. K-31 will be reduced to one lane at several points simultaneously. Traffic will be directed through the project work zone by channelizers and flaggers. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes, the Kansas Department of Transportation. The work should be completed later this month.
