OTTAWA — After months of major reconstruction, the Davis Road and K-68 intersection is scheduled to be fully open by Monday morning at 10, weather and fate permitting. The final layer of asphalt is being put down today and the pavement markings applied Thursday, city public works director Andy Haney said. The traffic signals will also begin flashing Thursday to alert motorists that they will soon be fully operational, he said. All lanes on K-68 will be opened Friday through the weekend, he said. The traffic lights will be fully activated and the traffic barriers removed Monday morning.
