PAOLA — A Paola man was recently booked into the Miami County jail in connection with an attempt to set fire to a Paola house two weeks ago. Paola police told the Miami County Republic that Kurt Eugene Clark, 36, was taken into custody in connection with an incident in which someone threw a lit container of gasoline at a bedroom window of an occupied in the 100 block of Chippewa Street in Paola. Police said the container didn’t set the home on fire, and there was no damage.
