DULUTH, Minn. — The trial for a Minnesota man accused of robbing the Great Southern Bank in Ottawa two years has been delayed until Nov. 15. Timothy Glen Caskey faces charges that he kidnapped his ex-wife in Minnesota and took off across the country. He’s also been accused of stopping in Ottawa and robbing the bank, and of stealing a truck in Texas. He was captured and his ex-wife rescued by Mexican state police. His trial has been set for U.S. District Court in Duluth, Minn., but it has now been delayed twice, once at the request of his attorney, who sought a psychiatric exam for Caskey. Prosecutors asked for a delay for the second time because a key witness wouldn’t be in Duluth at this time. The trial had been set to start last week. The defendant didn’t object to the second request for a delay, court records indicate.
