OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received reports of burglaries at storage units this weekend. Two units were broken into in the 3700 block of Old Highway 59 north of Ottawa Friday morning. One of the renters checked his unit and didn’t find anything missing. The sheriff’s office said the other person wasn’t immediately able to check her unit for theft but would report to the office later. Another burglary was reported at a unit in the 2100 block of U.S. 59 south of Ottawa Saturday morning. The renter reported items were stolen and estimated the loss at nearly $2,300.
