COLONY — Two Missouri men were taken to separate hospitals following a truck accident Friday in southwestern Anderson County. Ryan Stone, 37, Meadville, Mo., was driving a truck west on K-58 about five miles west of Colony when it went off the right side of the roadway and struck two signs, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The truck then went to the left of the road and struck a tree in the ditch on the south side of the road. Stone received disabling injuries and was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, the highway patrol said. A passenger in his truck, Isaiah Jones, 55, Poplar Bluff, Mo., received disabling injuries and was taken to Stormont-Vail Medical Center in Topeka. Both men were wearing seat belts.
