OTTAWA — The Over the Road Gang expects another record number of cars to roll in for the Ol’ Mary River Run car show this weekend. The total of cars could reach 2,000 this year, which would be more than last year’s record-setting total, said Ed Clark, Ottawa car club’s president. The number of cars increase slightly each year, and based on pre-registrations, which are running faster than normal, there could be a much larger number this year, he said. The show begins Friday night, and includes an informal cruise in Forest Park. The big downtown cruise night on Main Street downtown is Saturday. The Forest Park location and the Saturday night cruise are among some of major attractions for vintage vehicle owners, Clark said.
