OTTAWA — Ottawa firefighters responded to an alarm of a house fire in the 300 block of East 11th Street at mid-day yesterday. Fire Chief Jeff Carner says burning food on a stove caused smoke and set off the alarm system. He says there was no fire and no damage to the kitchen.
