FRANKIN COUNTY — A 20-year-old Pomona man ended up in the Franklin County Jail after a cutting drama in the 500 block of Jackson Road north of Williamsburg early Wednesday morning. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received reports from two women about damage to the tires of their vehicles. A 28-year-old Pomona woman reported the four tires of her vehicle were slashed yesterday. The damage was estimated at $395. When deputies arrived, a 41-year-old Pomona woman reported her boyfriend hacked her vehicle tire with a sword the day before. William Martin II was booked for criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $1,000. When it was found that Martin had failed to show up for a court hearing, that charge was tacked on as well. Bond was set at $5,000 for that charge.
