GARNETT — Theresa Vail, the straight-shooting Miss Kansas, who won national attention and sparked a debate by being the first woman to show off her tatoos at the Miss America pageant will appear Saturday afternoon at Cornstock in Garnett. Vail, who captivated viewers, is expected to appear at the Great Kansas Outdoor Fun Sshow sometime after 3 p.m.. She’ll also visit the Concert on the Hill with Phil Vassar, Gloriana and Silver Bullet Band. Other Cornstock events include the Lake Garnett Cruisers car and motorcycle show, a remote-control model aircraft show, talent shows and kids events at North Lake Park in Garnett.
