LAWRENCE — The annual fall tour of the University of Kansas Native Medicinal Plant Research Garden is Saturday morning at 10. The tour is free and open to the public. The medicinal garden was developed as part of the KU Native Medicinal Plant Research Program, which is an effort by KU’s chemistry department and botany lab. KU professor Kelly Kindscher of the Kansas Biological Survey will lead the tour. The garden is east of the Lawrence Municipal Airport on East 1600 Road. The Web site nativeplants.ku.edu offers a map and description of the gardens. The garden site is open to the public dawn to dusk.
