FRANKLIN COUNTY — A Johnson County woman was sentenced to 18 months for insurance fraud, but that was suspended. Sharon Bachman was sentenced to 24 months of probation. She had pled guilty to insurance fraud as part of a plea deal. Charges of theft and insurance fraud were dropped against her husband earlier. They were accused of defrauding an insurance company of about $160,000 in early 2009 in connection with a house under construction in Franklin County.
