OTTAWA — An Ottawa man is back in the Franklin County Jail after he failed to show up for court hearings. Hearings for Justin Wheeler had been postponed after he skipped hearings to face charges of two counts of battery and one count of criminal restraint. Sheriff Jeff Richards says Wheeler was picked up this weekend and booked into the jail. Wheeler was charged in connection with a domestic dispute north of Ottawa in January. After a 19-year-old woman fled from his home to a neighbor’s and told deputies that he was armed, deputies surrounded the home but he avoided the ring. Wheeler was captured by Ottawa Police near the golf course later in the day. His next court appearance has been re-set for October 11.
