OTTAWA — The Kansas Department of Transportation has started a project to replace the expansion joint on the north end of the K-68 bridge over the Marais des Cygnes River at Ottawa. Traffic on the bridge has been reduced to one 11-foot lane, controlled by a traffic signal. Motorists should expect brief delays, KDOT said. The project should be finished by mid-November, weather permitting, KDOT said.
