BALDWIN CITY — Six months after stepping down as Baldwin City mayor, Ken Wagner is back in city government. The Baldwin City Signal reported that Mayor Marilyn Pearse nominated Wagner to fill the unexpired term of Coy Weege. The Baldwin City Council ratified the nomination. He will serve 18 months. Wagner chose not to run for re-election as mayor earlier this year, saying he needed to spend more time with his business, Heritage Tractor. However, after Pearse approached him about joining the council, Wagner decided he would be able to serve. He was on the city council two terms before running for mayor.
