BALDWIN CITY — More than 1,000 area high school musicians will compete today at the 15th annual Baker University Marching Festival at Liston Stadium. The event is free and open to the public. Twelve marching bands, two color guards and three drum lines are scheduled to perform, beginning tomorrow afternoon at 3:15. The Jeremy Frye Memorial Championship Trophy will be presented to the total points champion band at approximately 8:45 p.m. Those performing, Ottawa, at about 4:30; Baldwin, about 6; Spring Hill, at about 6:15; Louisburg drum line, about 6:50; Louisburg Marching Wildcat Band will perform at about 8.
