OTTAWA — Ottawa firefighters were called to a report of a kitchen fire in the 400 block of South Elm Tuesday afternoon. However, Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner said there was no fire nor was there any damage. The cause of the alarm was food burning in the microwave, he said.
