OTTAWA — Following a brief and fairly routine hearing in Franklin County District Court this morning, District Judge Thomas Sachse gave the defense attorneys for Kyle Flack the rest of this month to respond to prosecutors’ request for a subpoena for more information. Prosecutors say they want to inspect certain business records, which remain sealed. Defense attorneys received a copy of the request this morning. They will have until Oct. 31 to respond, Sachse ruled. Flack is charged with the murders of Aandrew Stout, Steven White, Kaylie Bailey, and her 18-month-old daughter Lana Bailey near Richter earlier this year. At this morning’s hearing, Sachse also moved a hearing originally scheduled in December to Nov. 26.
