OTTAWA — The Franklin County Development Council is asking Ottawa and Franklin County to share the legal expenses of buying land and establishing a new industrial park in Franklin County. County administrator Lisa Johnson discussed the request with county commissioners and economic development director Jeff Seymour. Under the terms of the agreement, the three entities would split the legal cost, but with the city and county paying no more than $10,000 each, Johnson said. County commissioners will likely vote on the request Wednesday morning. Officials have said little where the new industrial park would be or what industries would be moving in.
