OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office received theft reports Tuesday ranging from minor to expensive. An employee with the Franklin County road and bridge department reported copper wiring and a key were stolen from a water pump located at a quarry in the 2600 block of Kingman Road southwest of Ottawa. The copper wiring was estimated at slightly less than $50. A 69-year-old ottawa man reported two 5-gallon containers of gasoline were stolen from his shed in the 2500 block of Indiana Road west of Ottawa. The loss was estimated at $60. A 57-year-old Richmond man reported wheels were taken from his yard in the 200 block of East Central Street, Richmond. The loss was estimated at $1,200. A Kansas City woman reported a burglary at the home of a deceased relative in the 300 block of Cedar Street in Lane. The loss was estimated at more than $4,300.
