OTTAWA — Tonight might sound a little too cool and soggy for swimming but that’s exactly what the new owners of the Swim For Life indoor pool, Rick and Diane Dietz, have in mind for tonight’s Chamber After Hours event. They’ve encouraged people to bring their swimming suits for what they’re calling a beach party, Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce president John Coen. The Dietzes recently bought the unused facility at 913 E. Wilson St. and renovated and reopened it as an indoor pool, Coen said. Coen said the chamber has been anxious to highlight its reopening as an important addition to the recreation and lifestyle offerings in the community. The pool party will be tonight from 5 to 7.
