OTTAWA–The Prairie Paws Animal Shelter may get a little bit of financial help from the city of Ottawa by taking over the Dog Registration Program. The City Commission discussed the proposed ordinance at Monday’s Study Session. Last year the city made $5400 from Dog Registration Fees. If the Commission approves the change, the dog fee will increase from $5 to $8.
