PAOLA – Miami County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a truck accident that killed a Paola man. Authorities say 23 year old Joseph R. Hallman, II, was driving southbound on Hospital Drive, a half-mile north of West 343rd Street, when the Ford f-150 truck he was driving left the road. Investigators say the truck overturned several times, and hallman was ejected. Authorities say Hallman was the only occupant in the vehicle and he was reported dead at the scene.
