OTTAWA — The city has learned that they can use several hundred thousand dollars in federal money to build several new T-hangars for airplane storage at the Ottawa Municipal Airport. The project could add up to 10 new T-hangars and the overall cost is estimated at about $350,000. The project is expected to be approved at Wednesday’s city commission meeting. The project is important if Ottawa wants to attract new businesses, Jack Miller, chairman of the airport advisory board, said. A community’s airport and services available are often a key consideration for those businesses that have corporate airplanes for their executives, he said.
