OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigated two theft reports Sunday. A deputy responded to an alarm call in the 1300 block of Labette Rroad south of Richter and found a open door at a home. The deputy called the homeowners, who arrived and inspected their home. The sheriff’s office said they discovered that items worth around $7,500 were missing. A deputy also talked to a 25-year-old Pomona woman who reported that someone stole a Toshiba laptop computer from her residence in the 500 block of Jefferson Street in Pomona. The loss was estimated at $700.
