OTTAWA–Fighting hunger and poverty was the theme at the annual ECKAN Fellowship Dinner at Ottawa High School. One guest speaker was Tawny Stottlemire, Executive Director of the Kansas Association of Community Action Programs. She said a lot of people think hunger only affects people far away when in fact it can hit right in our own homes.
