TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Transportation said it’s reopening the left-hand north-bound lane of U.S. 75 between the U.S. 56 junction in Osage County and the Topeka Boulevard interchange south of Topeka early Wednesday afternoon. KDOT said construction crews were to finish applying pavement markings to the road and doing some final shoulder work this afternoon. There is still some final work to do to the highway, but KDOT said that will wait until next spring.
