LYNDON — Osage County’s 911 emergency dispatch services went down for customers of S&A Telephone and AT&T wireless this morning, and Sheriff Laurie Dunn said this afternoon her department is having to improvise because phone companies haven’t yet restored the 911 emergency service.  AT&T wireless 911 calls are being re-routed through the county’s dispatch phone lines, she said.  911 calls from S&A customers are being re-routed through the Emporia Police Department, she said.  S&A callers should alert Emporia dispatchers that they’re calling from Osage County and be clear about their locations.
