OLATHE — A Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy has charged in connection with last week’s standoff in Gardner. Deputy Ethan Moss was charged Friday in Johnson County District Court with aggravated assault, criminal restraint and domestic battery. Moss has been placed on administrative leave, the Johnson County’s Sheriff’s office said. He is a six-year veteran of the office. Johnson County deputies and Gardner police officers arrested a 40-year-old Gardner man Thursday morning after a stand-off that lasted four hours in the 32500 block of West 174th Terrace in Gardner.
