POMONA — The Kansas Association of School Boards will host a public forum next week to hear from the community on what characteristics they want in a new school superintendent for West Franklin USD 287. The West Franklin school board hired the KASB to conduct a search to find a successor to Dotson Bradbury who is retiring effective June 30. The forum will be Wednesday evening, Dec. 18, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the West Franklin High School commons area, Pomona. All patrons in the school district are welcome to attend. The KASB will use the public recommendations to help screen candidates.
