TOPEKA — A long-time pilot and Kansas Department of Transportation veteran has been named director of KDOT’s division of aviation. Jesse Romo, deputy director in the division, has been acting director. He is an instrument-rated commercial pilot. He is also an adjunct instructor for Baker University. He has experience working in national aviation research and advocacy issues.
