OTTAWA — A bench trial has been rescheduled to Jan. 20 for an Ottawa father charged with endangering a child after his two-year-old son was found wandering in the street a block away from his home in July. A judge, and not a jury, will decide the case of Justin Vogeler. Ottawa police said the boy walked away from Vogeler’s house after he left the house and his two children but an adult roommate in the home was asleep and unaware the children were there or that one child had left.
