PAOLA — Miami County has been awarded a federal grant of slightly more than $3,800 from the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program. ECKAN will distribute the funds to local agencies, and ECKAN says the money will be used to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in Miami County. A board met Tuesday to hear applications for the grant money.
